Vicki is a UK and Hong Kong Registered Midwife and IBCLC Lactation Consultant with over 20 years experience across the NHS, and seven years in Hong Kong. Vicki is also a certified baby massage instructor, and a mum to three boys. She believes in providing evidence based, high quality, friendly care throughout pregnancy and the postnatal period. Before moving to Hong Kong, Vicki was a community midwife in the UK looking after a caseload of women throughout their pregnancies, during labour and birth in both hospital and home setting in the Wirral and Greater Manchester area. Vicki loves all aspects of midwifery but especially loves helping new mums' in the postnatal period. Since obtaining her registration in Hong Kong, Vicki has worked for Familyzone, Matilda International hospital community team, and is now running Mum's The Word HK that was founded by midwife Melanie Clough. Having had three young children under the age of 4, living in Melbourne with very little support, Vicki understands just how important support and reassurance in the postnatal period is.
ANTENATAL CARE AND ANTENATAL CLASSES
Antenatal care provided in the privacy of your own home to ensure the health and wellbeing of both mum and baby.
Antenatal classes can be booked privately for couples in their own homes or groups and are held at Ensemble in Sai Kung.
POSTPARTUM CARE AND SUPPORT
I take the time to get to know you, your concerns and your needs, be it feeling low, a painful perineum, feeding concerns or baby weight. I am just a call away for friendly, evidence based professional care.
BREASTFEEDING SUPPORT
Breastfeeding is a skill, and like any skill it can be tricky to master but with support, from friends, family, peers and professionals you are more likely to succeed. I can be as responsive as you need, from a single visit for reassurance to multiple visits where more help is needed.
UNWELL BABY AND INFANT CPR
Individual or group sessions focusing on confident care, recognizing and responding to the unwell baby and infant resusitation. Sessions for parents, carers and helpers.
BABY MASSAGE
Baby massage classes and individual teaching at home. Learn loving touch techniques with your baby. Group classes are held at Stageright in Sai Kung square.
BABY CAFE
Weekly postnatal and breastfeeding peer support group.

Vicki was my midwife when I had my little boy. She supported both my husband and I through the antenatal period, throughout my labour and delivery at home and postnatally.
